The book clearly explains the terms used in Flash and it requires very little previous knowledge from the user at the beginning. Working through each chapter seams to be the most logical approach and the lessons are very well structured.
The book and DVD combination lends itself very well to self study. The DVD contains all the code and associated materials required for each lesson and you can view the finished result before you start of each lesson.
I find this particularly useful so I can see the bigger picture for each lesson. The DVD also contains links to the online Adobe Community for additional help and support I would recommend this book for beginners and intermediate users or those who only intend to occasionally program in Flash.
